I observed a Sedge Wren on Thursday and Friday (7/24 & 7/25) carrying food to young in the back field of our farm which is enrolled in the CRP program. A birding friend told me several years ago that the habitat for Sedge Wrens in that area was good and finally I found one!
Several pair of Dickcissels are feeding young in many areas of our 80-acre grassland.
Bob-o-link families continue to "pop" up as we walk/drive down the farm lanes.
