I found 14 species of shorebirds today at Berlin Res. in Stark Co. Best were 4 Am. golden-plovers, ruddy turnstone, sanderling, an adult white-rumped sandpiper, 2 Baird's sandpipers, 2 stilt sandpipers, 4 buff-breasted sandpipers, and a short-billed dowitcher. Nice to see a bunch of juv. pectorals too. Also 7 great egrets. Hudsonian godwit is regular here when habitat is this good in September-October. Tomorrow's weather looks good to try a lakewatch at Conneaut. Later, Craig
