FYI: Can't remember who's studying Red-breasted Nuthatches, but he reads
this forum. Haven't seen any through summer or currently. As I reported
before, a pair spent all Spring and early summer here in Fremont, Ohio and
MAY have nested in my neighbor's backyard, which is a dense stand of tall
pines. Will notify if any show up.
Also, my Blog devoted to changing your yard into a wildlife-friendly one
has "TODAY'S HEADLINES- WINTER BIRDS IN OHIO. UPDATED DAILY!". I'll run
this for a week and then change the theme. Any birding theme suggestions?
Visit it at http://wildlifefriendlylawn.blogspot.com/ and scroll down until
you find it. Robert
