I live in Clintonville, a suburb on the north side of Columbus. Yesterday
morning I had a new yard bird, two hermit thrushes. (After seeing other
various reports of hermit thrushes in the area, I feel that much better
about my ID.) That brings my yard bird total to 45 species in the 10 years
I've lived on this postage stamp-sized property. I have only kept daily
records of my observations here since Dec. 2004. There have been many birds
I've had to "let go" as unidentified because I just didn't get a good enough
look to be sure. And, I always wonder what is here when I'm not!
