I went to see the Golden-crowned Sparrow today around 1:00 PM through
2:00 PM. It was still there when I left, and probably won't be leaving
the area anytime soon it seems. The homeowner is a good guy, and he
helped us find the bird.
I also went down to Celina to see the Eurasian Dove that Bill Whan had
spotted the other day. It took some waiting, but I eventually saw one
sitting on top a power line pole near the grain plant. Along
Livingston Ave, behind the plant, is a good place to park and watch
for the bird.
I tried to see the Smith's Longspurs out on Manley Road... but I had
no luck there.
