The rainy weather made for a modest temperate migrant fallout at Sullivant's Trace, an urban park I visited in west Columbus this afternoon. This park includes a flood control impoundment, shrubby edges, and a small forested ravine. In 45 minutes of birding I pulled out 40 species, highlights being
Green Heron
Blue-headed Vireo
Hermit Thrush (2)
Brown Thrasher
Cedar Waxwing
Ruby-cr.Kinglet (6)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (10)
Black-thr.Green Warbler
Pine Warbler (2)
Yellow-rumped Warbler (6)
E.Towhee (2)
Chipping Spw (5)
White-thr.Spw (25+)
