This morning between 10:00 and 10:30 am the Little Blue Heron remained at
Lake Logan, in the location previously described by Jim Fry and Bob Evans. I
also saw a Great Egret, a Great Blue Heron and two adult Mute Swans. I did
not see the reported Cygnets.
I first located the Little Blue Heron in a tree south of the dike along the
opposite shore, but it soon flew over the dike. A low-flying helicopter
apparently spooked it and it returned to the south side of the dike. After a
few minutes in again flew over the dike to the north.
