While helping a scout troop on the Hoover Clean-up this morning, I saw 2 Black Vultures with the flock of Turkey Vultures that roosts just south of Hoover dam. 2-3 of these birds are now almost regular every winter along this reservoir, and are possibly emigrants from the fall-winter roost at Granville (about 20 miles east of here). Keep an eye out for them over the next several months, especially checking over groups of Turkey Vultures.
