A quick hike after work during the Metro Parks, Serving Summit County's annual Fall Hiking Spree yielded an Olive-sided Flycatcher along the Towpath Trail. The bird was hawking insects from a dead tree southeast of where Schumacher Valley Trail joins up with the Towpath Trail along the Cuyahoga River north of the Big Bend Area. Also seen were 4 Common Nighthawks and a flyover of 10 Double-crested Cormorants headed south.
