This morning I made a quick jaunt down to the Olentangy River, near
the Conrades-Wetherell Science Center here at Ohio Wesleyan, before
the skies opened up. It was a quite productive hour, with lots of
birds and good diversity. Highlights:
Blue-headed Vireo 1
Philadelphia Vireo 1
Red-eyed Vireo 3
Swainson's Thrush 2
American Robin 150
Warbers:
Nashville Warbler 2
Northern Parula 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 2
Magnolia Warbler 11
Cape May Warbler 2
Black-throated Green Warbler 12
Blackburnian Warbler 1
Bay-breasted Warbler 5
Blackpoll Warbler 1
Black-and-white Warbler 1
American Redstart 10
Wilson's Warbler 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak 1
Good birding,
Sean
