I spent lunch at Sandy Ridge today. Sandy Ridge is part of the Lorain
County Metro Parks and is located in North Ridgeville on Otten Road.
I was able to get spectacular views of a Peregrine Falcon. It was
tormenting a gull, then spent 10 minutes attacking flocks of Green Winged
Teals. Lots of splashing and drama. Then it decided to focus its attention
on a Turkey Vulture. It was quite a scene and very enjoyable to watch.
