I birded the above-mentioned reservoirs this afternoon. Nothing out
of the ordinary.
Deer Creek Reservoir in Pickaway county:
Common Loon 1
Great Blue Heron 5
Black Vulture 4
Bufflehead 2
Hooded Merganser 15
Ruddy Duck 2
Bald Eagle 1
Ring-billed Gull 150
Herring Gull 1
Bonaparte's Gull 5
Paint Creek Reservoir in Ross/Highland County:
Ring-billed Gull 60
Bonaparte's Gull 35
Rocky Fork Reservoir in Highland County:
Pied-billed Grebe 37
Horned Grebe 2
Common Loon 2
American Coot 115
Ring-billed Gull 665
Herring Gull 2
Bonaparte's Gull 50
Double-crested Cormorant 9
Ruddy Duck 1
South of Rocky Fork Reservoir, a light-morph Rough-legged Hawk was seen.
