Came across a flock of about 25 goldfinches, mostly on the ground, yesterday afternoon in the same area near the upper pond as a similarly sized flock of grackles, but today, mixed in with a handful of mallards on the lower pond was a small duck I couldn't positively id from my field guide, though I'd guess a young blue winged teal. If anyone could tell me for sure I'd be greatful, thanks:
