I took some time to drive around and check out birds. I didn't feel like dragging my self through the
snow at Sandy Ridge so I just did the car tour. While near Wal-Mart on Chestnut Ridge in Elyria, I
saw 9 horned larks. I was hoping to see some snow buntings but I was happy with what I saw. There
was also 1 red tailed hawk working the field. I look forward to warmer days and getting back to
Sandy Ridge, I miss walking with my friends there. I'm also looking forward to the annual trip or 3
to Magee Marsh. I did hear some birds singing spring songs when I got out of my car at work
Wednesday. Better days are coming.
