We spent an hour in the drizzle on Sunday (3/28), checking out Pickerington
Ponds south of Columbus. Highlights included the pair of Osprey back at
their nest pole, a Wilson's Snipe, and a smattering of ducks:
Gadwall
American Wigeon
American Black Duck
Mallard
Blue-winged Teal
Northern Shoveler
Northern Pintail
Green-winged Teal
Ring-necked Duck
Lesser Scaup
Bufflehead
Ruddy Duck
Wood Duck
The cold and wet kept us from finding much else.
P.S> We had our first singing Chipping Sparrows three whole days ago here
in SE Ohio ;-)
