Hi Everyone,
Yesterday as I was sitting in my backyard looking to see if I could see any birds.
I noticed some moving around my cousin's yard next door. They were bluebirds, I kept an eye on them with my binocs
and found that they are nesting in an old dead tree in a woodpecker hole. They kept going back and forth and in and out of the cavity. And I did hear little ones. You don't see then nesting in a natural cavity like that very often. Years ago I did have a fly thru bluebird and decided to but up a box. Noone ever used it not even house sparrows or bees for a matter of fat. I did keep it up for years until it fell apart , oh well lol It is a nice treat for me to watch them in their yard . I did get a few pictures notall very good , but good enough for me. :-)
I will add some to my site sometime.
Good birding and Happy 4th of July weekend to All.
