Blackbrook Audubon Society had their monthly field trip to Conneaut Harbor today. We
started at 7 am and left around 10:00.
Shorebirds on the mudflat were:
4 Semipalmated Plover
6 Killdeer
5 Lesser Yellowlegs
4 Least Sandpiper
5 Semipalmated Sandpiper
1 Pectoral Sandpiper
3 Spotted Sandpiper
+
2 Caspian Terns
5 Bald Eagles
2 Willow Flycatchers
At the Wildlife Observation Deck, there was 1 juvenile Black-crowned Night-Heron along with
1 Green Heron.
