On this cloudy, windy, cool morning, we spotted about 30 species, including the following highlights:
Double-crested cormorant - XX (didn't count)
Great blue heron - 1
Accipiter spp. - 1
American kestrel - 2
Yellow-bellied sapsucker - 3
Eastern wood-pewee - 1 (seen & heard)
Red-breasted nuthatch - 1
Brown creeper - 4
Golden-crowned kinglet - 3
Ruby-crowned kinglet - 8
Swainson's thrush - 3
Northern mockingbird - 1
Warblers: Magnolia - 5; Cape May - 1; yellow-rumped - 10; palm - 6; blackpoll - 3; American redstart - 2; common yellowthroat - 2; Wilson's - 1
White-throated sparrow - 7
