Spent about an hour at the Castalia Duck Pond today, got there around 10:00am.
1) Canada Goose - 300
2) Northern Shoveler - 40
3) Mallard - 35
4) Gadwall - 25
5) American Wigeon - 15
6) Bufflehead - 1
7) American Coot - 1
8) Belted Kingfisher - 1
Was at Sheldon Marsh from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
1) Canada Goose - 30
2) Mallard - 20
3) Bufflehead - 1
4) Bald Eagle - 1
5) Ring-billed Gull - 10
6) Red-bellied Woodpecker - 1
7) Downy Woodpecker - 2
8) Blue Jay - 4
9) American Crow - 2
10) Black-capped Chickadee - 6
11) Tufted Titmouse - 3
12) White-breasted Nuthatch - 2
13) American Robin - 1
14) Starling - 15
15) American Tree Sparrow - 2
16) White-throated Sparrow - 1
17) Dark-eyed Junco - 5
18) Northern Cardinal - 3
Stop at Old Women Creek at 1:30pm for about 15 minutes, parked at the small parking lot, west side of the route 6 bridge. 4 Eagles were sitting on the ice, 200 or so yards off the beach, 2 were up flying over the lake.
