At 1:00 today, CH 119 just outside of Harpster held 24 Longspurs, and just as many Horned Larkes. With the snow, they were back on the road.
Harriers and Kestrels were everywhere. I THINK I saw the Golden Eagle disturbing the geese population over at the pond in the reserve area. Fleeting glance was all I could get. No shrike today...must be taking a nap. :-D
Have a great day, happy birding, and God bless,
Steve J.
