I did go to Villa Angela and Wildwood State Parks on the eastside of Cleveland today 11am to 1:25pm. Again, I am missing out on the new birds that have been seen. It was in the upper 40's and I believe the winds had shifted more north when I left. I did see many Double-crested Cormorants as I arrived and many Turkey Vultures. Here is some of what I saw:
Pied-billed Grebe 2 WW
Horned Grebe 1 WW
Great Blue Herons 4 going east
Double-crested Cormorants(2 groups of ~ 70 each far east of marina came from north I believe then closer to shore in V formation low near water and moved east)plus smaller groups moving east 25-30
Red-tailed Hawk 1 (dark one) in with TVs
Turkey Vultures small kettles of 5, 7, 17, 4, 18 going east, 3 going west
some seen around 11 others much later.
Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers 6 (pairs were making oink oink oink calling)
Northern Flickers 4
Eastern Phoebes 3
Brown Creepers 4
Winter Wren 1 heard VA
Golden-crowned Kinglets 6
Hermit Thrush 2 VA
Brown Thrasher 1 WW
Fox Sparrows 8 (2WW, 6VA) I missed some
Song Sparrows ~ 8-10
White-crowned Sparrow 1 first winter lately near brush pile near dirt near lake
Eastern Towhees 3
