Today around noon Scott Albaugh, Ben Warner and I saw and heard 2
UPLAND SANDPIPERS at Bolton Field Airport southwest of Columbus. To
view the birds bring a spotting scope and look east through the fence
from the main airport building.
I spent the evening at Pickerington Ponds Metro Park on the southeast
side of Columbus. At dusk while scoping southwest from the Glacier
Knoll overlook platform, I spotted 2 WILSON'S PHALAROPES with some
yellowlegs.
Good birding,
Dave Slager
