Between rainstorms and gusting winds, I managed to see the three subject birds for the first time this season. Other birds of note were a Hairy Woodpecker, a pair of Carolina Wrens building a nest in the eaves of the Visitor's Center, several beautiful Eastern Bluebirds, a particularly vibrant Yellow-throated Warbler, a Pine Warbler cavorting in the grass a few yards from my van, and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
