I ended up going to Villa Angela and Wildwood State Parks today on the east side of Cleveland. I was there from mid morning to late afternoon. Most of the few warblers I saw were in the first two hours near the lake in Villa Angela and would of been better earlier. After that I was seeing mostly Redstarts & Common Yellowthroats. Here are a few of the birds seen:
Red-breasted Merganser 1
Great Blue Heron 2
Green Heron 1 heard
Eastern Wood-Peewee 3
Least Flycatchers 5+
Flycatchers not ID'd - many
Great Crested Flycatchers 2
Eastern Kingbird 1
Red-eyed Vireo - many today
Bank & N. Rough-winged Swallows,Chimney Swifts
BC Chickadees 3, T. Titmouse 4-5
Carolina Wren 1 heard
Swainsons Thrush 5
Wood Thrush 1 or 2
Northern Mockingbird 1, Brown Thrasher 1, Gray Catbirds - many
Cedar Waxwings - many throughout the parks
Warblers:
Yellow many
Chestnut-sided 1
Magnolia 2
Black-throated Blue 1f
Black-throated Green 1
Bay-breasted 1
Blackpoll 2 (heard only)
American Redstart 7-8
Ovenbird 1
Common Yellowthroat 10-11
Eastern Towhee 1
Swamp Sparrow 1
Baltimore Orioles
