arrived @ Euclid Beach today @ 2:40
to 80* and decent winds from E/NE
sunny, but the breeze is cool
walked up east sidewalk up along the
trailer park to the sidewalk above the
beach where i turned westward past
the apartments and headed down the
path past the feral cat colony. i then
walked the path in the wooded area
eastward where i would occasionally
take a trail to the beach-like area. i
then walked along the edge of the beach
- tree-scrub line all the way to the mouth
of Euclid Creek where i headed back on
the sidewalk to where i started, walk ended
at 3:45.
Baltimore Oriole - 8
White-crowned Sparrow - 2
Tree Swallow - 8+
Barn Swallow - 15+
Northern Rough-winged Swallow - 6+
Ovenbird - 1
Gray Catbird - 5
Black + White Warbler - 1
Northern Mockingbird - 1
Gulls
all at near Euc Beach as there were
3 swimmers near the mouth of Euc Creek
40+ (all Ring-billed)
DUNLIN - 1
Great Crested Cormorant - 3
Canada Goose - 4
lots of House Sparrows, Common Grackles,
European Starlings, American Robins
