Today at North Chagrin a couple of us saw a single red-headed woodpecker in a
tree adjacent to the feeder area by the Nature Education Bldg., about 3 pm, also
one hummer and several goldfinches, cardinals, etc. As to recent inquiries as
to their presence or absence in usual areas, in the area of Lakeview Cemetery
that has had several in the past two years, I've only seen one and that was the
second week of April.
