Greetings all-
There have been a number of mumblings passing through the OH birding
community this summer in regards to a very pertinent question about
one of the no-less-then-top birding spots on the north shore of our
state: what's going to happen to Lorain Impoundment?
Does anyone have any solid info on the future of the site? I've heard
casino, amphitheater, fill-in, nature preserve, and many other
opinions and hear-say.
Are there any Black River Audubon or Western Cuyahoga Audubon members,
or any others that have solid, fact-based info on Lorain Impoundment?
The site is simply spectacular as-is, but if it were to be protected
and restored, it would elevate to mind-numbingly awesome.
There are folks that are willing to raise funds to help ensure the
impound's existance as a natural area.
