Today, after the rain moved out, the common loons moved into Clear Fork
reservoir. By noon there were 253+. Also present were 40 hooded mergansers,
30 buffleheads and 2 cm. goldeneyes. Just before sunset, 26 tundra swans
flew over, and ~ 1500 ring-billed gulls and small numbers of Bonaparte's
and Herring gulls were present.
