It was pretty good this morning. There were fewer mergansers and
Bonaparte's gulls moving than yesterday. There was evidently a lot of fish
in the area as small groups of Bonaparte's remained the entire morning and
small groups of loons and grebes passed to the east. I had a single
red-necked grebe and red-throated loon. The loon was close enough for some
recognizable photos. Also of note were a single long-tailed duck and
harlequin duck. Both were flying east.
