Betty Best reports a partially albino (leucistic) cardinal at Como Park in
Columbus. The bird was seen this afternoon near the Olentangy River. She
notes that this bird is *really* light, almost brilliant white over most of
its body, with only a pink wash on the crest, tail, and outer primaries.
The bill also was pink, presumably the usual pinkish orange.
While not an extraordinary rarity, it sounds like quite a bird to see!
