Caesar Creek SP – There was a merlin near the water tower on the road to the North Pool. This is the same general area where it has been previously reported.
I thought I saw the Black Scoter that Jason Cade reported a few days ago. It was among a group of Gadwall but it was a distant view and the birds were flushed by a passing boat before I could get to Harveysburg road for a better look. 2 drake Common Mergansers were feeding across from the campground.
Melvin gravel east of Wilmington on SR 22 – 3 Snow geese, 4 Tundra Swans. Several hundred Canada Geese, Ring-necks, Mallard, Black, Redhead. 1 Horned Grebe.
