Yesterday while watching my feeders for Project FeederWatch, a single Pine
Siskin visited me for about 20 minutes at my house in Kirtland, for the
first time this year. The bird fed on the ground, then hung out in a tree.
Other good birds I had around my yard included Great Blue Heron, Pileated
Woodpecker, Eastern Bluebird, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, and
Brown-headed Cowbird. Spring is here.
Good Birding,
