I went to Penitentiary Glen in Kirtland today from 12-2. There were a lot of birds on the Red Fox
Loop with over 15 bluebirds, warblers, sparrows, and more. I ended with 44 species. Here are the
highlights:
Bald Eagle- 1 juvenile, soaring over the nature center
Yellow-bellied & Least Flycatchers
Philadelphia & Red-eyed Vireos
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Brown Thrasher
Warblers:
Nashville
Magnolia
Blackpoll
Pine
Yellow-rumped
Eastern Towhee
White-throated Sparrow
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
