We had great looks at the LESP at Lorain. It was somewhat near Gabe's stick
(thank you, Gabe), but in a small ditch with some water. We watched it take
a bath!!!! We observed it perched UP on a weed. The bird is quite pale, but
we observed the white central crown stripe, eye ring and faint purple
stripes on the nape/back. We saw it about 3:15. While searching for this
bird we saw two Nelson's Sparrows.
Good Birding,
Doreene Linzell
