I had twenty minutes before work this a.m. At Edgewater State Park (lower, east parking lot) so i set up to scan through thousands of gulls working the shoreline just off the parking lot. Bonaparte's were in the hundreds, a passing flock of 34 Dunlin, a flock of 4 and then 52 Brant, and a single PURPLE SANDPIPER. Wendy Park was jammed with gulls including over a thousand Bonapartes but my time was up.
