Linda and I took advantage of Saturday's nice weather and took a walk at Char- Mar Preservation Park. The park is only a few miles from the house and we have used it more often as it is so easy to get to and it is an enjoyable walk. We have a new favorite there, a Barred Owl that almost seems to greet us. We have seen it on 8 straight walks, now it has to stay put until December 15th for the Christmas Bird Count.
Species observed along the trail today included:
