After several attempts to see the crossbills before work, was able to see
some this morning just after 10am. I appreciated the postings that they
were still present, so wanted to pass it long too.
A male and two female Red Crossbills and two female White-winged
Crossbills were in one of the Sweetgum trees. (They even dropped to the
ground in front of my car to drink from a puddle.) I had to scurry out,
but also saw two of the Common Redpolls.
They must be moving around a bit-- when I turned around and came back
through on my way out they were not there.
Red Crossbill was a life bird, so thanks again.
Cheers,
