Ventured out for a short while earlier this evening to do a little birding.
At the ponds located on Township Road 464 in Holmes County (Washington,
Twp), I saw northern shovelers, green-winged teals and hooded mergansers.
At home in my backyard (between Nashville and Glenmont), I heard the first
woodcocks of the year cycling through their dance. A nice way to end a
beautiful day!
