Just heard a whip-poor-will singing on the hillside across the road at my
MIL's house! This is the 3rd year in a row we've heard them in our
neighborhood.
Also had the 1st hummingbird of the season visit the feeder tonight.
Earlier today, I heard a yellow warbler singing while on my lunch break at
work, sitting in the parking lot of the library in Millersburg.
The white-throated sparrows have been gone for 2 days now. The evening
grosbeaks that appeared Monday and Tuesday haven't been seen since then.
As a side note, I'll be doing a Breakfast with the Birds Family program on
Saturday, May 18th @ 8 am at the Holmes County Library in Millersburg. The
focus is bringing generations together to enjoy birding as a hobby.
Although this is a family program with the activities focusing on kids,
anyone new to birding is welcome to attend. Below is the link.

Happy birding!
