At 11:00 this am there was an American Golden Plover in transitional plumage at the Airborne ponds on Jenkins Road. He was there with a Solitary Sandpiper, a Least Sandpiper and a Pectoral Sandpiper. There were also numerous Killdeer for size comparisons. The plover was at the ponds yesterday.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Clinton County sandpipers
This am, and yesterday am, there were a Greater Yellowleg, a Lesser Yellowleg and a Solitary Sandpiper at the Airborne collection ponds on Jenkins Road. Jenkins is south of Wilmington off Ohio 73 south or Ohio 134 south from Farmers Road.
