Walking around the blowy, snowy fields of Frohring Meadows this afternoon,
Dick Hoopes and I saw a flock of snow buntings (23) feeding in the
short, sparse grasses by the large rock and frequently taking off and
relocating on the road.
In an hour and a half I only saw one other bird there, a blue jay.
