I and two others got excellent views of the Snowy reported yesterday by Paul
McSweeny and then Doug Overacker. Still in the same area. Going south out of
London on Rte. 38 you will come to Crawford Township Rd. About a mile south of
Crawford Township Rd. there is an oil/natural gas pipeline installation on the
east side of the road where you can pull off and park safely. The bird was on
the east side of the road, a couple of hundred yards off in the field.
Spotting scope came in handy. The bird moved from one hillock to another while
we were there and was quite conspicuous.
