Thirty (or more) American Robins have been busily stripping the frozen fruit from an ancient Arnold Crabapple [Malus x "Arnoldiana"] in our front yard bird feeding area. This has been going on steadily at all hours for the past three days here in south central Huron County....it's a very impressive sight.
Needless to day, a dozen European Starlings have contributed their labours to the undertaking as well.
