I birded a couple area lakes this afternoon before the rain/snow started.
Highlights:
Lake Medina: continuing RED-NECKED GREBES, 7 Horned Grebes (in various
stages of breeding plumage molt), close views of Hooded Mergansers from park
area
Chippewa Lake: continuing single LESSER BLACK BACKED GULL, only a couple
handful of ducks present (Common Mergansers, Lesser Scaup, Ring-necked
Ducks, etc.)
