It was just gorgeous this evening at Nimisila resv. and so much to see! I
rather liked birding in the evening with the sunset glowing in the distance
and it was so tranquil! Highlights were:
3 grt egrets, osprey & bald eagle,
blue teal, ringneck, bufflehead, wood duck,
Lsr & grtr scaup, ruddy, redhead,
all 3 mergansers-lots of females,
Pied & horned grebe, gazillion coot!
Barn, tree & rough winged swallows
There may have been a purple martin or chimney swift mixed in but i couldnt
refind it-there were so many-by the bait shop marsh area.
Bird blessings everyone! Sandra
