Earlier today while working on my grandpa's property in Madison, I found a
group of 3 (three) Red-breasted Nuthatches. I first heard one, then I
played the recording of it and all three came into a spruce right in front
of me. When I lived on this property 4-5 years ago, I had them all year, so
I guess they never left. Since there were three, would one be a juvenile,
or are there three adults? Very interesting.
