I checked out several pond/lake areas around Circleville yesterday. At the
gravel quarry on Island Road just west of Circleville I found one Cackling
Goose along with 300 CAGO's, Am. Coots, Mallards, 2 Am. Black Ducks, 6
Green-winged Teal, a Ruddy Duck, 1 Pied-billed Grebe and a 3rd year Bald
Eagle.
Stage's Pond was totally frozen over.
Hargus Lake (A. W. Marion State Park) had Ruddy Ducks, Mallards,
Pied-billed Grebes, 1 Horned Grebe, 1 female Hooded Merganser, and several
Am. Coots.
