This evening (2/25), the female YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD found yesterday in
Dayton was seen again by some rogue birders, (Chris Collins, Jeremy
Dominguez, Alex Eberts, Eric Elvert) and a few other folks as well. Same
location as the previous night on Upper River Rd. The bird arrived in a
blackbird flock around 5:30 pm and they stayed until about 5:55 pm to go
and roost just like the previous night.
Best chance to see this bird would be in the evening. Get to the location
around 5:15 pm and wait for the blackbirds to come in. Also of note in the
blackbird flock was a Rusty Blackbird.
Good Birding!
