Just to report that the Buff-breasted Sandpiper continues at Wilderness Rd (Wayne) this afternoon - I left it about 3:45 PM.
A few other shorebirds including Lesser Yellowlegs, Least and Baird's Sandpipers, Pectoral Sandpiper, Semipalmated Plover, Killdeer. But much fewer birds than yesterday. I was told that the wet area the phalaropes were frequenting out near the bare "eagle tree" has dried up, so I didn't walk out there today. I only spent about a half hour, mostly watching the Buffy, so didn't make a thorough survey of all the birds.
All for now,Carlton SchooleyStrasburg (Tuscarawas)
