Two ROSS'S GEESE were seen at the Rivertowne Marina, 4601 Kellogg Ave, Cincinnati at 2:30pm. Per Mark Gilsdorf, who spotted them first, they are moving with a flock of Canadas between Rivertowne and the adjacent Four Seasons Marina.
When I saw them, they were swimming back and forth in the area between the boat slips, somewhat apart from the Canadas at the boat ramp. A man and his sons were working on one of the boats, and the geese were not disturbed by this activity. Gale Wulker reported that they were anxious when a white helicopter from near-by Lunken Airfield passed overhead.
